FUTBOLISTA Magazine accepts article pitches for the magazine and website. We are always excited to hear from writers interested in contributing and respond as soon as possible.
Pitching for the magazine
The magazine is what we do best. It is intended to be released three to four times per year, with each issue covering a wide range of topics. FUTBOLISTA Magazine’s seventh edition was described by The i Newspaper as ‘one of the best’ recent sports publications in the United Kingdom. Our intention is to publish a vibrant, informative magazine which uses football as a starting point to also discuss themes like culture, travel, history and more.

We particularly like long-read features, interviews and eye-witness accounts, ideally with photography included (even if taken on a smartphone). For the magazine’s Journal section, we are looking for opinion, ideas, studies, analysis and historical pieces.
FUTBOLISTA Magazine is committed to paying freelance writers for their work in the magazine. The magazine is run solely by its Editor, Archie Willis. As a result, we unfortunately have a very small budget to fund the magazine. If contributing to the print magazine, we offer payment of £20.00 plus a free digital PDF copy of the magazine.

Alongside the magazine, we publish semi-regularly online at futbolistamag.com. The same themes and article styles as above also apply here, and writing an article for the website is often a great way for us to get to know your writing.
Please note that, due to the limited budget we have as mentioned above, FUTBOLISTA Magazine does not pay for articles written exclusively for the website.

Please note that orders for subscriptions to FUTBOLISTA Magazine can no longer be placed. For the foreseeable future, new issues must be ordered as individual issues. As such, no information can currently be given regarding Gift Subscriptions.

Damaged/Incorrect Items
If you receive an item which is damaged or not the item you ordered, please send an email to editor@futbolistamag.com with your order number. If possible, please provide a photo indicating the problem with the order. Please wait for us to respond via email before returning damaged or incorrect items.
Returns
All returns must be posted back to us within 14 days of receiving your order. All returned items must be in new and unused condition.
Return Process
To return an item, please send an email to editor@futbolistamag.com to authorise the return or exchange. Once authorised, post your return to the following address, with a note indicating your name and order number:

Please note, if you ordered the wrong item, you will be responsible for all return shipping costs. If you have received a damaged or incorrect item, we will refund the shipping costs upon receiving the returned item.
Refunds
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of the item, we will process your return or exchange (for exchanges, please inform us via email of how you would like to exchange it). Please allow at least fourteen (14) days for the processing of your return or exchange after we receive your return. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
